New Delhi, 30 May: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge along with a delegation of party leaders met President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Tuesday. The delegation also submitted a memorandum to the President regarding the ongoing violence in Manipur.
The memorandum said that the security of “our people should be the foremost responsibility of the government. We hope that the ruling dispensation will take concrete steps to restore normalcy in Manipur.”
