Kanpur Dehat, 29 November: Congress party UP President Ajay Rai reached Kanpur Dehat on Wednesday to sound the bugle of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024 as he reached the public meeting venue, what embarrassed him that the pandal was there, chairs were kept but people were not there to listen him resulting in he stayed there only for five minutes in two hours of program.
All parties have started preparations for the Lok Sabha elections. Public meetings are being organized continuously by the parties. In this series, a Pal conference was organized in Devipur village in Kanpur Dehat, in which Congress State President Ajay Rai arrived as the chief guest. He reached the district before his scheduled time. During this, Congress workers welcomed him by wearing garlands.
Along with this, the workers and officials honored him by crowning him and giving memento. But seeing the chairs empty in the public meeting, the Congress State President left after speaking for a few minutes.
Officials could not gather crowd
Seeing the empty chairs in the Pal Conference organized in village Devipur of Kanpur Dehat, State President Ajay Rai got angry and without saying anything he addressed to the empty pandal for only 5 minutes and then left. After which the workers and officials also gave clarification regarding the lack of crowd in the program.
