Congress workers create ruckus after stopped from meeting Rahul Gandhi in Raebareli

Raebareli, 05 November: Leader of Opposition (LoP) in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday inaugurated several road projects in his parliamentary constituency Raebareli and participated in an important meeting. There was a huge crowd of Congress workers on his arrival but due to the ban imposed by the administration, no one was allowed to meet Rahul. Congress workers created a ruckus over this.

Rahul Gandhi reached Raebareli at 10.45 am. Where he inaugurated the Shaheed Chowk built at Feroze Gandhi Degree College crossing. After this, he inaugurated nine roads of 70.900 km. These roads have been built under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. FDR technology has been used in road construction. Roads have been constructed at a cost of 5367.88 lakh. After inaugurating the roads, Rahul Gandhi reached the meeting of District Monitoring Committee (Disha) held in Bachat Bhawan. During this, Congress workers created a ruckus at Feroze Gandhi Chowk when the police stopped them from meeting Rahul.

The collectorate was converted into a cantonment in view of the MP’s security. No one was allowed to enter the collectorate premises. During the meeting, Minister of State Dinesh Pratap Singh, MP Kishori Lal Sharma, MLA Manoj Pandey, Aditi Singh, Ashok Kori, along with many committee members and administrative officers were present. After this, Rahul Gandhi left for Delhi from Fursat Ganj Airport.
