Sambhal, 27 December: The district administration has taken a big decision of building a new police post after the violence that broke out during the survey on Shahi Jama Masjid and Hariharnath temple dispute on November 24 in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh.
Therefore, the construction work of a new police post was begun on Friday on the vacant land in front of disputed Shahi Jama Masjid. Security has also been hiked in view of the construction work.
Additional Superintendent of Police ASP) Shrichandra told presser that after Friday prayers, the land was marked and measured for the police post. After this, the construction work of the police post started with the digging of the foundation.
He said that from the point of view of security, it has been decided to build a police post at this place. The name of this police post to be built in front of Jama Masjid has also been decided. Its name will be ‘Satyavrat’ Police Post.
