Construction of Shri Ram temple will be completed by June, community kitchen to start soon for devotees, informs Shri Ram Trust

Ayodhya, March 17: The monthly meeting of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust was held on Sunday under the chairmanship of the Trust’s President Pujya Mahant Nritya Gopal Das. During this, it was told that the construction work of the temple is 96 percent complete and the remaining work will also be completed by June. Maximum work has been done in Saptarishi temples and the remaining work will also be completed by May. The construction of the rampart is going on.

It was informed that forty percent work has been done in Sheshavatar temple. Saint Tulsidas temple has been completed and the idol has been installed and after the inauguration on Manas Jayanti on Shri Ram Navami, devotees will be able to have darshan there. There is a plan to install idols in the remaining temples on Akshaya Tritiya.

The meeting of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust was held at Shri Mani Ram Das Cantonment. Important information of the trust meeting was also shared on social media on Monday.

It was told that in the meeting, there was an in-depth discussion on future plans related to the temple. The current status of the temple construction was informed and the possible time for completion of the remaining work was told.

It was said that in the five years since the formation of the trust, the trust has paid Rs 396 crore to various government agencies in various items. This includes GST, TDS, royalty, map making, stamp duty for land purchase, electricity bill and other types of payments.

Consensus was also reached in the meeting on starting a free food area (Bhandara) in the temple every day. Many devotees have expressed their desire to contribute to the Lord’s flower bungalow, clothes, bhog, aarti. Soon a plan will be prepared in this regard and made public.
