Lucknow, 01 June: After nearly a month of corona curfew, markets in 61 districts of Uttar Pradesh have buzzed since Tuesday morning. Permission has been given to open shops between 7 am and 7 pm with some restrictions.
Meanwhile, three more districts will get a waiver of the corona curfew from Wednesday, due to the number of corona infects being less than 600. However, 11 districts including the capital Lucknow will still remain shut down.
The state government on Sunday announced the removal of the Corona curfew from 55 districts. On Monday, the number of active cases of corona in six more districts of the state was less than 600. Then the government had decided to give relief to 61 districts from Corona curfew from June 1. Due to this, markets have been opened in 61 districts of the state from today with certain conditions.
Three more districts exempted from Wednesday
State Additional Chief Secretary Information Navneet Sehgal said that on Tuesday, the number of active cases of corona infection in Lakhimpur Kheri, Ghazipur and Jaunpur also came down to less than 600. In such a situation, there will be relief from Corona curfew in these three districts also from Wednesday.
According to the new guidelines issued by the government, during the relief, many other exemptions have also been given with certain conditions, including the facility of movement. However, the weekly closure will continue on Saturday and Sunday. Also, no exemption will be available in the Containment Zone. All restrictions will remain in force as before.
Right now these 11 districts have not got any exemption
Meerut, Lucknow, Saharanpur, Varanasi, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Muzaffarnagar, Bareilly, Gautam Budh Nagar, Bulandshahr and Jhansi.
Main points of relief from corona curfew
1- Permission to open market from 7 am to 7 pm in districts with less than 600 corona cases.
2- There will be full presence in the government departments related to the campaign of Corona. Remaining government offices will open with maximum 50 percent attendance.
3- Offices of private companies can also be opened with the requirement of masks. Private companies will encourage the system of work from home.
4-Industrial institutions will also be open.
5- Vegetable market will remain open as before, it will be mandatory to establish Kovid-19 in every vegetable market place.
6-Schools, colleges and other educational institutions will remain closed for educational work.
7-Restaurants will be allowed home delivery only.
8- Not more than five devotees will be allowed inside the religious places at a time.
9-Egg meat and fish shops will be allowed to open after taking care of adequate cleanliness and sanitization.
10-Wheat purchase centers and ration shops will remain open.
11- Shops related to agricultural work will open.
12-Coaching institutes, cinemas, gyms, swimming pools, clubs and shopping malls will be completely closed.
13 – A maximum of 25 invited guests will be allowed in wedding ceremonies and other events.
A maximum of 20 people will be able to participate in the funeral procession and funeral.
