Lucknow, August 29: The number of active cases of highly transmissible disease Covid-19 in the state of Uttar Pradesh has reached up to 53,360.
At the same time, 1, 62,741 Covid-19 patients have been discharged from various hospitals after being cured.
Sadly, 3,356 infected persons have lost their lives due to deadly virus in the state so far.
First in the country in the daily corona testing
State’s Additional Chief Secretary Medical and Health Amit Mohan Prasad informed in regular Corona presser on Saturday that a total of 1,48,147 swab samples were tested on Friday in various laboratories of the state taking the total testing to 53,50,704 in the state so far.
In this way, Uttar Pradesh remains the first in the country in terms of daily and total corona screening.
So far, 26,865 people undergoing treatment in home isolation
He said that out of the total active patients in the state, 26,865 people are availing the facility of home isolation i.e. treatment at home. This is 50.34 percent of the active case.
At the same time, 2,403 people are admitted in private hospitals, 262 in L-Plus semiped facility hotels and the rest are undergoing treatment at the state government’s L-1, L-2 and L-3 hospitals.
In the last 24 hours, 4,026 people opted for the facility of home isolation.
At the same time, 93,978 people have taken advantage of the facility of home isolation, out of which 67113 have been discharged after tested negative for virus. In this way 71.4 percent people have become healthy.
Additional Chief Secretary Medical and Health said that the Rapid Response Team will visit the districts and see the patients of home isolation whether they are sick or not. The patient cannot be placed in home isolation if he is ill. This facility is only for patients without symptoms.
17,435 samples tested through 3,269 pools
On Friday, 17,435 samples were tested through 3,269 pools, he said. Of these, five samples per pool were tested through 3,051 pools, of which 267 pools reported were positive. On the other hand, 10 samples per pool were tested through 218 pools, out of which 23 pools reported positive.
49,685 people availed of e-Sanjivani portal so far
Along with this, people of the state are constantly using the e-Sanjeevani portal, from this, they can take advice from the doctors sitting at home. On Friday, 1,902 people took advantage of this facility. At the same time, 49,685 people of the state have benefited from this.
Death rate reduced to 1.52 percent
He said that if we talk about the case fatality rate (CFR) on corona, the death rate in cases has now come down to 1.52 percent. At the same time, as a result of rapid recovery of patients, the percentage of recovery is also increasing and now it is 74.15 percent.
