New Delhi, 23 July: The number of deadly novel coronavirus disease ( Covid-19) cases in the country continued to rise as a result, in the last 24 hours, 45 thousand 720 new cases of corona have been reported taking the total cases of Covid-19 to 12 lakh.
However, this is the biggest spike so far. In the last three days, more than one lakh cases have been recorded in the country.
With this, the number of corona patients has increased to 12, 38,635.
At the same time, 1129 people died in the last 24 hours from highly contagious virus.
So far, the death toll due to the virus in the country has reached to 29,861.
Similarly, there are 4, 26,167 active patients in the country according to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Thursday.
At the same time, there is good news that 29,553 infected people have been recovered in the last 24 hours in the country taking the total cured cases in the country to 7, 82,606.
With this, the country’s recovery rate has increased to 63.18 percent.
