Counterfeit currency notes printing detected in Mumbai, 2 detained

Mumbai, 5 May: Mumbai Police have exposed the racket of printing fake notes in Bharat Nagar area located in Bandra-Kurla Complex. Police raided on Saturday night and arrested two people. Fake notes of โ‚น 100, 200 and 500 have been recovered from both of them.

The police are thoroughly investigating this matter. Mumbai Police had received secret information about printing of fake notes in Bharat Nagar area of BKC. Based on this information, the police raided Bharat Nagar late on Saturday night and recovered computers and printers etc. used in printing fake notes.

Police have arrested Naushad Shah and Ali Syed from here. Police have recovered fake notes of Rs 100, 200, 500 from them. The police is interrogating both the accused thoroughly and trying to find out who is behind the fake currency business.
