Guwahati, 10 June: Coronavirus infection is spreading its tentacles rapidly in eight states including Sikkim in the northeast of the country.
However, initially the number of patients in the northeastern states was extremely low but now the conditions have changed considerably.
As the arrival of migrants in the states of northeast from other states has started, the spread of infection is increasing rapidly. The maximum number of cases reported in Assam. The state of Tripura is at number two.
During the last 24 hours, 334 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in the Northeast.
In this way, the total number of patients has been 4538, out of which 1383 patients have been cured.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 325 patients have completely recovered while 3156 patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals.
At the same time, seven patients have died of Covid-19, while six patients have gone out of the northeast states.
The number of new patients in Assam has been 215. The total number of patients in the state is 3040, while 1098 patients have been treated and sent back to their respective homes. So far, 313 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. Treatment of 1945 patients is being done in various hospitals. Meanwhile, five patients have died and three patients have gone out of the state.
So far, 26 new patients have been identified in Tripura. The total number of patients has increased to 866 while 192 patients have become healthy after treatment. At the same time, 673 patients are being treated. At the same time, 01 patient has died, while 03 patients have gone out of the state.
So far, 32 new patients have been identified in Manipur. The total number of patients in the state has increased to 304, while 64 patients have become recovered from the infectious disease. At the same time, 06 new patients have become healthy. However, 240 patients are undergoing treatment at various hospitals.
Similarly, 5 new patients have been identified in Nagaland. The total number of patients has increased to 127. So far, 10 patients have been cured in the state. At the same time, 02 new patients have become healthy. Treatment of 117 patients is being done in various hospitals.
Not a single new patient has arrived in Arunachal Pradesh. The total number of patients has increased to 57. At the same time, 02 patients have been declared infection-free after treatment . 01 new patient is healthy. Treatment of 55 patients is being done in various hospitals.
In Meghalaya, 04 new patients have beenidentified. The total number of corona infections in the state has gone up to 42. Out of which 13 patients have become healthy. In which 29 patients are under treatment. However, 01 patient has died.
So far, 46 new patients have been identified in Mizoram. The number of corona-infected patients has increased to 88 in the state. However, 01 patient has been recovered. At the same time, 87 patients are being treated in the hospital.
So far, 06 new patients have been identified in Sikkim. The total number of infected patients in the state has increased to 13. At the same time 03 patients have become been cured. Treatment of 10 patients is going on in the hospital.
