54 other districts in 23 states and Union Territories have reported not a single coronavirus case in last 14 days
Now 14.19 percent of Corona positive patients are cured in the country
New Delhi, 19 April: Even though the figures of coronavirus are continuously increasing in the country, on the other hand, good news is also coming from some districts. There are 10 more districts in the country where not a single new case of Covid-19 has come up in the last 14 days.
With this, there are now 54 such districts in 23 states and Union Territories of the country where new cases of corona have stopped coming up.
In the press conference on Sunday, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Health Lav Aggarwal informed that districts where no case of corona for the last 14 days have been reported are Gaya and Saran from Bihar, Bareilly from UP, Rupnagar from Punjab and Fatehgarh Sahib, Haryana Includes Fatehabad, Assam to Kachar and Lakhimpur. With this, Mahi of Puducherry and Koda district in Karnataka have become corona-free. There has not been a single case of corona for the last 28 days.
According to the Ministry of Health, in some districts of the country, the active containment efforts of the public and the administration have broken the corona infection cycle, but similar public support should continue. In 54 districts of the country, the effect of the administration’s steps is visible.
He apprised that 755 Covid-19 hospitals and 1389 health centers have been prepared so far in the country.
Task force designed to research vaccines and medicine
A high-level task force has been constituted to eradicate and speed up the testing and testing of corona for its treatment. The force will be headed by a member of the NITI Aayog and a scientific advisor to the Prime Minister. This task force will also include Drug Controller of India, Department of Science and Technology, ICMR, DRDO, Department of Biotechnology, AYUSH.
Till now 3 lakh 86 thousand 791 people have been tested
According to Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 3,86791 tests have been conducted in the country so far. In the last twenty four hours, 37 thousand 173 tests were done. Out of which 29287 tests have been done in 194 government labs and 7886 tests have been done in 84 private labs.
