Lucknow, 19 March: District Magistrate (DM) Lucknow Abhishek Prakash said that the protocols related to Covid are not strictly followed at all establishments, workplaces in Lucknow. For this the restrictions associated with the Covid-19 is reimposed in the city.
While issuing the instructions, the DM said that compliance of social distancing should be made compulsory. Entry at workplaces, establishments should be banned without mask. All people use the sanitizer themselves. Sanitizer should also be made available at the entrance of the establishment.
He said that Covid desks will be made at all major establishments and offices, so that effective prevention can be made on Covid-19 cases. Due to increasing cases of Covid in the district, it is necessary to take stricter steps.
He said that in the past, in most of the establishments and workplaces while checking of registers, it was found that there is no complete description of the people visiting. During this period, details of people from other states also could not be obtained whereas in the past, instructions were given to maintain registers according to the rules of Covid which most establishments did not follow.
It is worth mentioning that in case of coronavirus disease in Lucknow, there has been a spike in the order from the normal situation. In view of the present situation, the DM has issued necessary instructions to strictly follow the Covid rules. In the last 24 hours, more than twenty four Covid patients have been found in Lucknow.
