Jaunpur, July 05: A 65-year-old college manager in Utirai village of Sikarara police station area was found murdered on Saturday night by unknown people, police said. ย
The deceased has deep head injuries and was found in the pool of blood. The incident has come to light on Sunday morning.
According to the police, on getting information, the Dog Squad and Forensic Team along with the police team reached the spot to find clues of the killers.
Sabhapati Dubey (65), the manager of the Sabhapati Inter College located in Utrai village and a native of Nizamuddinpur village, was killed on Saturday night at a residence near his college.
The managers were unmarried and lived alone at the residence. He has deep bruises on his head. The news of the murder of Dubey spread chaos among the locals of the area on Sunday morning.
On the information, the ASP Rural, CO Madiahun and CO Sadar along with force of other police stations have reached the spot.
The police have reached out to the Dog Squad and Forensic team to find clues of the killers and are investigating the murder mystery.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Rural Tribhuvan Singh said that the incident took place last night. Investigations are being conducted by the Dog Squad and Forensic Team on the spot. Efforts are being made to ascertain the reasons for the murder. The body has been taken and sent for post-mortem. No complaint has been registered yet.
