Baghpat, 6 Sept: Two people were detained on Tuesday for allegedly kidnapping, raping, and murdering a six-year-old child.
According to Inspector Devesh Kumar Sharma, the family reported the kid missing on Monday. They said that the accused, Pradeep and Raees, abducted the victim as he was playing outside his residence, brought him to a field, and sexually molested him. They then murdered the youngster and placed his body in a borewell. The body was subsequently found by locals in the morning.
The police claimed they detained the two suspects after receiving a complaint from the boy’s father. According to them, the body has been submitted for a post-mortem examination, and additional investigation is underway.
