Lucknow, March 28: Gangster-turned-politician Mukhtar Ansari appeared in MP-MLA court on Monday. After the completion of the hearing, the court has fixed April 8 as the next date. After this the police left for Banda with Mukhtar.
Mukhtar Ansari was brought to Lucknow amidst tight security from Banda Jail. Bahubali Mukhtar Ansari was produced in two cases in the court of ACJM III.
According to the information, the first case was of enemy property registered in Hazratganj police station, in which a copy of the chargesheet was given. The court has fixed the matter for hearing on April 8.
In the second case, charges have been framed against Mukhtar in an old case of assault with a jailer registered in Alambagh police station. The matter will also come up for hearing on April 8. It is also coming to the fore that the next hearing is to be done through video conferencing. After this, the police have left for Banda with tight security.
