Lucknow, January 05: BJP stalwarts are organizing programs in various parts of the state to tell the truth of the Citizenship Amendment Act(CAA) and the lies being spread by the opposition. Under this, the Defense Minister Rajnath Singh reached the residence of retired Justice Khemkaran in Lucknow on Sunday and also held a press conference there.
Rajnath Singh said that citizenship law is not against anyone, whatever the old laws were for granting citizenship, they are still there. This is just to give respect to the persecuted minorities of neighboring countries in our country. Opposition is spreading confusion among people about the law for political selfishness.
Singh added further that this law is not against minorities. People should not get caught in any kind of confusion. It has been India’s tradition to provide shelter to refugees. Modi government is working with the idea of โโSabka Saath Sabka Vikas. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has introduced laws to give citizenship to victims from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan under the Citizenship Act. No one needs to be intimidated by this.
On Sunday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Gorakhpur, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Maurya in Moradabad, State President Swatantra Dev Singh in Bareilly and Dr. Dinesh Sharma was in Agra to clear the confusion on CAA.
Apart from this, prominent leaders of BJP, Union and State Government Ministers are also appealing to the people to take a front against the Opposition by explaining the truth of the CAA at different places and by opening the conspiracy of the opponents.
