New Delhi 22 February: The Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Saturday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on a courtesy call at the PM residence.
She said that under the guidance and leadership of the Prime Minister, the double engine government of the BJP is committed to transform the dreams of Delhiites into a developed Delhi by walking on the path of public welfare and good governance.
The Chief Minister’s round of meetings is continuing since the formation of the BJP government in Delhi. Earlier on Friday, the Chief Minister met President Draupadi Murmu and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar.
The Chief Minister is seen active regarding the development of Delhi and cleaning of river Yamuna (largest tributary of the river Ganges). She gave a clear message by participating in the aarti of Yamuna in the evening after the oath ceremony on February 20 that how serious her government is about the river Yamuna.
Apart from this, the Chief Minister has also held a meeting with the officials of the Public Works Department (PWD) towards improving the infrastructure of Delhi.
In the meeting, she discussed in detail all the issues related to the dug up roads, damaged roads and traffic in Delhi and gave directions to the concerned officials.
