Delhi police arrests 6 Bangladesh citizens including 2 posing as ‘Khusras’ to escape from police

New Delhi, April 12: Delhi’s South West and Rohini District Police have arrested six Bangladeshis living illegally here. Among these, two Bangladeshis were living in Mahipalpur as transgenders to escape the police. At present, the police have sent all the Bangladeshis to the Foreign Regional Registration Office (FRRO).

Rohini District DCP Amit Goyal said on Saturday that the Rohini District Police was monitoring the Bangladeshis living illegally. Meanwhile, the special staff of the district received information that three Bangladeshis including a woman were living hiding their identity. After confirming the information, the police arrested all three Bangladeshis. The arrested accused have been identified as Aklima Bibi, Mohammad Kamal and Mehboob Alam.

Investigation has revealed that Mehboob Alam is originally a resident of Hilalpur, Gopalganj, Hetimganj, Sylhet, Bangladesh. He is the owner of a medicine shop in Sylhet Bangladesh. He is married and has two children. He came to India for the first time on April 5 this year. Mohammad Kamal is a resident of Delight Cinema Daryaganj. He is a resident of village Dhurala Khalasi Kandi Thana-Madaripur, District-Madaripur, Bangladesh. He is married and his wife and children are currently living in Bangladesh. He was first sent to Bangladesh in the year 2012. After three years, he again crossed the border and came to Delhi by train via Howrah. He used to work as a scrap dealer in Delhi. Aklima Bibi, who was caught in the same sequence, was living in Bawana area. She was first sent to Bangladesh in the year 2007.

Meanwhile, the Anti Snatching Cell of South West District has arrested two Bangladeshis living illegally from Mahipalpur. Both the accused were posing as transgenders to escape the police. Police have recovered two mobile phones with banned IMO app from them. Police have also recovered two Indian Aadhar cards and PAN cards obtained through fake documents from these people. South West District DCP Surendra Chaudhary said that the arrested accused have been identified as Mahi and Tanya.

According to the DCP, the district’s anti-snatching cell had received secret information that two Bangladeshis were living as transgenders in Mahipalpur and begged at traffic signals to avoid the police. After confirming the information, the police team arrested both of them.

During interrogation, the accused revealed that they had undergone minor surgery and hormonal injections to change their gender and appearance to hide their identity.

During further investigation, both of them revealed that Pinky and another Bangladeshi transgender named Irara alias Natasha helped them enter India illegally and also got their Aadhar cards and PAN cards made through some Indian agents on the basis of some fake documents. At present, the police is searching for Pinky and Irara. The Special Staff of South West District caught a Bangladeshi from RK Puram area. The arrested accused has been identified as Ambrose. He is a resident of village Saidpur Bangladesh. Investigation has revealed that he was living in RK Puram hiding from the police. The police have arrested the accused on the basis of secret information.
