Kolkata, April 20: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Dilip Ghosh launched a strong attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, calling her the “most incompetent Chief Minister” in the history of the state. Ghosh said that Bengal is going through its worst phase under the leadership of Mamata Banerjee and now the only way left is to impose President’s rule in the state.

Dilip Ghosh also supported the demand of BJP leader and actor Mithun Chakraborty in which he had talked about President’s rule in the state and deployment of army for two months during the elections. Ghosh said that the current law and order situation has deteriorated so much that deployment of military forces has become necessary to ensure the safety of the public and fair elections.

He said, “Mamata Banerjee is unable to handle Bengal. If President’s rule is not imposed, people’s lives and property will not be safe. She is preparing to win the elections with the help of goons and weapons, which is very dangerous for the state.”

Ghosh accused the Chief Minister of always blaming others and not taking any responsibility herself. He said, “She does not do any work, cannot handle the crisis and always blames others. Now the public has also understood that she is not even capable of speaking the truth.”

The BJP leader also claimed that during the recent violence and chaos, BJP and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh workers are helping the victims by risking their lives, while the administration is completely absent.

He said, “Our workers are engaged in helping the homeless people, but journalists are being prevented from going to the site of incidents. Anti-social elements are roaming freely and the police is nowhere to be seen. The police is inactive on the orders of the state government.”

Dilip Ghosh finally said that now the people of Bengal no longer trust Mamata Banerjee. He said, “The demand for deployment of BSF is getting louder. No one trusts Mamata Banerjee anymore.”
