Azamgarh, 26 May: The Samajwadi Party (SP) has fielded candidates on all three of its seats for Rajya Sabha elections. But the name of the SP chief wife Dimple Yadav is not there in these seats.

So, in such a situation, it is now clear that Dimple Yadav is not going to Rajya Sabha. After which the market of speculation has become active again that Dimple Yadav can contest the by-election from Azamgarh district itself.

In the recently concluded state assembly elections, Samajwadi Party chief and former chief minister Akhilesh Yadav won from Karhal assembly seat. After that he left the Azamgarh Lok Sabha seat. That’s why by-elections have to be held here.

On Wednesday, the Election Commission also announced the date of the by-election. The process of nomination will also start from June 06.

Meanwhile, in three seats for the Rajya Sabha, Dimple Yadav, wife of the SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, was going to be the candidate for one seat, but on Thursday, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav made Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) president Jayant Chaudhary a candidate from this seat. After which Dimple Yadav’s way to Rajya Sabha has been closed.

Now the SP chief Akhilesh Yadav can field wife Dimple Yadav in Azamgarh Lok Sabha by-election, because Akhilesh Yadav has visited Azamgarh twice within a week in May and consulted the party leaders.

Sources claimed that Akhilesh Yadav is not trying to leave Azamgarh seat to strengthen his hold in Purvanchal.

At the same time, the second reason is that if local leaders get tickets, then the risk of factionalism in the party can also increase.

Therefore, SP chief Yadav is trying to field his wife Dimple Yadav in the by-election to maintain his hold on this seat.

It is said that even during Akhilesh Yadav’s visit to Azamgarh, the local leaders have also stamped the name of Dimple Yadav.
