Baghpat, 8 January: Baghpat District Magistrate (DM) inspected several schemes on Wednesday, also instructions have been issued to stop the salary of four officials including DPRO after cow dung was found in the women’s toilet complex in Gauripur. During this, instructions were given to renovate three ponds for water conservation.
During the inspection of the women’s toilet complex in Gauripur, the DM found that the toilet was locked and cow dung cakes (Uple) were being made around it.
He gave a strict warning to the local villagers and said that locking public facilities is not acceptable. He instructed the DPRO, BDO, ADO Panchayat and Panchayat Secretary to make the toilet functional immediately and instructed to remove the cow dung cakes.
DM also ordered to stop the salary of these officials till the order is followed. Along with this, the District Magistrate inspected the water harvesting unit being built under the Atal Bhujal Yojana and three renovated ponds.
He also inspected the Ayushman Arogya Mandir of Gauripur and gave necessary instructions.
