Lucknow, 11 Aug: On Friday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed the Assembly, saying that injustice had been done to Shivpal Yadav, a Samajwadi Party leader and Akhilesh Yadav’s uncle.
“Shivpal Yadav has suffered injustice. He would never appreciate Shivpal’s worth. Who can comprehend the concerns of the poor if they eat from a silver spoon? The bull was in the abattoir during SP control, but it is now used in agriculture. Akhilesh is unaware of the ground realities,” Yogi stated in his speech to the Assembly.
Yogi went on to claim that the majority of farmer suicides occurred during the Samajwadi Party’s leadership. “During the previous administration, there were no doctors or medicines in government hospitals. Both are now available at government hospitals,” he explained.
The Chief Minister expressed confidence that the BJP’s double-engine rule at the Centre (and in the state) will be repeated after the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. “The opposition should chart its own course. In 2024, the double-engine government will be repeated. The Samajwadi Party will be unable to open an account in 2024,” Yogi said.
Earlier today, Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav attacked the BJP, claiming that the party has become synonymous with “hatred and corruption.” “Previously, they (the BJP government) were known for ‘chaal, charitra, and chehra,’ but today they are renowned for hatred, corruption, unemployment, and inflation…How is a trillion-dollar economy possible without the assistance of farmers and the improvement of the agriculture sector?” he said in the Assembly.
“An staffer of the Leader of the House’s office was killed when his car collided with an animal…What security precautions are in place for the general public if he is not safe?… Every single day, we see footage on social media of a’saand’ (Bull) running down a woman, kid, or elderly person on the street…Is this a trillion-dollar economy’s dream?” Akhilesh questioned the government.
