Dehradun, Oct,22: As per the order issued by the joint chief electoral officer of Uttarakhand Pratap Singh Shah, eight IAS officers presently posted in the State of Uttarakhand would work as an observers for the three poll-bound States, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh.
These eight officers are IAS R Rajesh Kumar, IAS Dew Krishna Tiwari, IAS Vineet Kumar, IAS Harish Chandra Kandpal, IAS Umesh Narain Pandey, IAS Deependra Chaudhary, IAS Nitin Singh Bhadauria and IAS Manuj Goyal.
It is worth mentioning that The Election Commission of India (ECI) announced the assembly polls schedule for five states, as mentioned Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Telangana and Mizoram.
Voting for the Chhattisgarh Assembly elections will be held in two phases on November 7 and November 17. Voting will be held for 230 seats in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly on November 17, for all 40 seats in Mizoram on November 7, for 200 seats in Rajasthan on November 23, and for all 119 seats in Telangana on November 30.
The counting of votes for all five assembly elections will take place on December 3.
In the Election Commission’s press conference on assembly elections in five states, CEC Rajiv Kumar said that the elections in all the states will be completed by December 5.
