Lucknow, February 22: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) team raided 12 locations in the city, including a private news channel situated in Gomti Nagar area in Lucknow on Saturday regarding the Noida boat scam.
FIR has been registered in the case at Aliganj and Cantt in Lucknow. In the name of Garvit Innovative Promoters, a scam was done in NCR, UP and Haryana, due to which ED has raided many places in Lucknow.
According to sources, the purpose of these raids is to collect additional evidence and documents. Sanjay Bhati, who has been in-charge of BSP from Noida, is the mastermind of the scam.
In this case, Noida Police has sent more than 12 people including the company head Sanjay Bhati to jail. Some others wanted in the case are absconding, whom the police are looking for.
