Efforts are being made to restore Ayodhya on the global stage through Deepotsav: Yogi Adityanath

Ayodhya, 21 October: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, after inspecting the development works of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi on the Janmabhoomi path, said in a press conference on Saturday that the double engine government of BJP had approved a budget of more than Rs 30 thousand crore for Ayodhya.

He said that most of the development works have been started and are moving towards completion. It is our endeavor to complete most of the projects before Diwali.

He said that Ayodhya is going to be a glorious moment for the country and the state. In January 2024, a divine event will be organized by the Prime Minister to once again enshrine Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram in his grand temple. A new Ayodhya will be visible in Ayodhya. Preparations for this have been started at our level, the first rehearsal of which will be seen on Deepotsav. Deepotsav is being organized by the state government for the last 6 years. There is an effort to restore Ayodhya on the global stage through Deepotsav.

The Chief Minister said that work is going on in Ayodhya under the guidance of the Prime Minister. While maintaining the cultural identity of Ayodhya, Ayodhya is being displayed as the most beautiful city in the world from the point of view of physical development.

Yogi said that clear orders were issued to various departments to carry forward the development works in a time bound manner while maintaining the standard and quality of works. Today it has been reviewed, all the departments have taken forward their work on war footing. I have been inspecting the development works of Ayodhya for the last 2 hours. All the departments have taken forward the development works as per the dignity of Ayodhya.

He said that it will be our endeavor to complete most of the development works by Deepotsav. I am confident that by completing the remaining works by 31st December, we will make the divine and magnificent Ayodhya available to the devotees of the country and the world.

He said that Ayodhya is already ready for the festival of lights. It will also prepare itself for this grand event of January 2024, for which the residents of Ayodhya and the people of the state and the followers of every Sanatan religion have been waiting for the last 500 years. We will be able to organize this event inside Ayodhya with great enthusiasm and grandeur. In conclusion of his address, he extended best wishes for Sharadiya Navratri and Vijayadashami.

The Chief Minister conducted a thorough review of the ongoing development works in Ayodhya. Senior officials of the government associated with development works and all the officials of Ayodhya were present in the meeting.
