Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi welcomed at Rashtrapati Bhawan

New Delhi, 25 January: President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi received Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi at Rashtrapati Bhavan at 10 am today (Wednesday).

A guard of honor was also given to Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, who arrived at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Raisina Hill. Here Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar met him. Abdul Fateh al-Sisi will call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House today for bilateral talks. He will propose to do business in local currency between the two countries. There will be discussion between the two leaders on deepening cooperation in the defense sector along with bilateral trade.

He will first have a private conversation with Prime Minister Modi. Then there will be bilateral official discussions. After this, both the countries will issue a joint statement. About half a dozen agreements will be signed between the two countries. Al-Sisi reached New Delhi by plane at 6 pm on Tuesday.
