The Consumer Council has also decided to raise this issue in front of the Electricity Regulatory Commission on Wednesday. The council says that seven production units in Uttar Pradesh were
closed due to low demand. After this, power cuts of six hours started in rural areas. This has increased a lot of problems in rural areas. People were already troubled by the irregularity of electricity. Due to this system, a lot of problems have increased.

President of Uttar Pradesh State Electricity Consumer Council and member of the State Advisory Committee Awadhesh Kumar Verma said that these issues of consumers will be raised loudly in the
general public hearing of the Electricity Regulatory Commission tomorrow .

The Consumer Council has already filed a petition for providing 18 hours of electricity supply to the rural population by implementing a roster. The Power Corporation has been asked to respond to this, but the Power Corporation has not yet responded to the Electricity Regulatory Commission.
