Noida, 9 Nov: During questioning for alleged usage of snake venom at a party in Noida, YouTuber and Big Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav confessed the snakes were arranged by Bollywood singer Fazilpuria, according to sources. Elvish became famous after a video of him holding two snakes went viral.

A Haryanvi vocalist was also seen in the video alongside the YouTuber. As the Noida Police, which is investigating the issue, questioned Yadav, he stated that singer Fazilpuria arranged for the snakes. Elvish Yadav was one of six people identified in a First Information Report (FIR) filed last week in Noida under the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972, and for criminal conspiracy under Indian Penal Code section 120-B.

Following an assessment by the veterinary department, venom glands were discovered lacking in all nine snakes retrieved. On November 3, five persons were detained at a banquet hall in Sector 51, and nine snakes, including five cobras, were retrieved from their possession, as well as 20 ml of suspected snake venom.

Police, however, stated that Yadav was not present at the party venue and that they were investigating his participation in the larger case of snake venom usage as a recreational drug, which was discovered by animal rights group PFA (People for Animals).
