Lucknow, 06 November: A canteen employee of the MLA’s residence on Park Road in Hazratganj police station area committed suicide by hanging himself. The police sent the body for autopsy and started further action, police said.
Sub Inspector (SI) Pramod Kumar Yadav said that Jai Prakash Tiwari (50), resident of Buddheshwar Adarsh Vihar of Para police station area, was a class IV employee in the State Property Department. On Monday, he committed suicide by hanging himself in the canteen located at Park Road MLA residence. As soon as the news was received, son Aman Tiwari arrived with the family.
Yadav told that after receiving the information, the police reached the spot, sent the body for post-mortem and started investigating the case.
