Washington, 14 Dec: The US House approved enquiry into the impeachment motion against President Joe Biden. The resolution was passed by a 221-212 votes.

Biden called it a politically motivated move. The issue is related to his son Hunter Biden?s business deal. A notice in this connection was issued earlier. Hunter has refused to record his statement on camera and wants to plead his case openly.

The Republican Party has not presented any concrete evidence against Biden so far. The impeachment motion is not likely to be cleared in the Upper House, where the Democratic Party has a majority.
