Evaluation of 2.5 crore copies of UP Board exams begins from April 23

Prayagraj, April 22: The evaluation of answer sheets of UP Board High School and Intermediate will start from April 23.

For this, 271 examination centers have been set up for evaluation in the state whereas 75 evaluation centers have been set up in 23 districts under the regional office of UP Board, Prayagraj.

Hence, a target has been set to complete the evaluation work of answer sheets between April 23 and May 5. More than 1.25 lakh examiners will complete the evaluation of about 2.5 crore answer sheets of UP Board’s high school and intermediate in 15 days.

According to Vinay Kumar Gill, Additional Secretary, UP Board Prayagraj Regional Office, all the preparations regarding the evaluation have been completed and the evaluation will start from 10 am to 4 pm at all the evaluation centers on Saturday. All the preparations have been completed at the evaluation centers. Instructions related to evaluation have been given to the DIOS and JD of all the districts.

He said that the evaluation will be done under the shadow of CCTV. During this, testers will not be able to take Android mobile with them. He said that there is a ban on the entry of outsiders in the evaluation centres. The center administrators will pay special attention to the basic facilities, so that the examiners do not face any problem.

It is noteworthy that a total of 51,92,689 candidates were registered in the UP Board 2022 High School and Intermediate examination. Out of which 47, 75,749 candidates appeared and 4, 16,940 were absent. A total of 27, 81,654 candidates were registered in the high school. Out of which 25, 25,007 candidates appeared and 2, 56,647 were absent. Whereas a total of 24, 11,035 candidates were registered in Intermediate. Out of which 22, 50,742 candidates appeared and 1, 60,293 were absent.

A total of 148 candidates were caught using unfair means in the UP Board exam. Along with this, a total of 45 candidates were kept appearing for the exam instead of others. A total of 40 FIRs have been lodged against a principal, a center administrator and four others in the board examination so far.
