Ex IPS demands registration of an FIR against Nana Patekar in slapgate case

Varanasi, 15 November: On Wednesday, Azad Adhikar Sena national president and former IPS Amitabh Thakur demanded registration of a case against film actor Nana Patekar in the case of slapping a fan.

Let us tell you, Nana Patekar is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film ‘Journey’ in Varanasi.

It is being told that shooting was going on on Tuesday, during which a young man broke the security cordon and went to take a selfie with Nana Patekar.

As soon as the young man reached Nana Patekar, who was busy giving shots in the shooting, he picked up his mobile phone to take a selfie, due to which Nana got angry and slapped the fan.

This video is going viral since morning.

Regarding this matter, Amitabh Thakur has said in his complaint sent to Police Commissioner Varanasi that, during the shooting near Dashashwamedh Ghat, video is going viral regarding Nana Patekar slapping the fans taking selfies and the crew member twisting his neck. Looking at it, it is clear that this is a criminal act.

Thakur said that the seriousness of this crime increases because it is a criminal act committed by a well-known film star who holds a very important position in the society.

In view of the social seriousness of this incident, Amitabh Thakur has demanded immediate action by registering an FIR.
