Bollywood choreographer, director and actress Farah Khan’s troubles have upped after she called Holi a festival of ‘Chhapris’. An FIR has been lodged against her at the police station. Vikas Pathak, popularly known as Hindustani Bhau, has filed this complaint through his lawyer Ali Kashif Khan Deshmukh.
A complaint was recently lodged at Khar Police Station demanding legal action against Farah Khan for her controversial statement in an episode of the television show ‘Celebrity MasterChef’.
Vikas Pathak alleged in his complaint that Farah Khan made derogatory remarks by calling Holi a ‘festival of Chhapris’. He claimed that this statement has not only hurt his personal religious sentiments but also the sentiments of the entire Hindu community.
Hindustani Bhau’s lawyer said, “My client says that Farah’s comment has hurt the religious sentiments of the Hindu community. The use of the word ‘chhapri’ for a holy festival is extremely inappropriate. Rather, it is likely to create communal tension. This statement has not only hurt the personal religious sentiments of my client, but has also outraged the entire Hindu community. We demand appropriate legal action and justice through this complaint.”
A case has been registered against Farah Khan under various sections. Celebrity MasterChef judge Farah Khan commented on the festival of Holi. Due to this comment, she is being constantly trolled on social media.
