Actress Suhani Bhatnagar, who played a role in Aamir Khan’s film ‘Dangal’, died on February 17 in Delhi. She was only 19 years old. The sudden demise of the actress came as a deep shock to her family and fans. She was undergoing treatment in the hospital for the last two months. Suhani was suffering from a rare disease. Her death has been confirmed by Aamir Khan’s production house.
Apart from this, while talking to the media, the parents of the actress gave detailed information about what happened to Suhani.
While talking to the media, Suhani’s father said, ‘Two months ago, swelling in her hand started. At first we thought these things were very normal but eventually the same swelling started appearing on her other arm also. After this the swelling spread throughout the body. Despite consulting many doctors, no one was able to diagnose the disease. Finally, 11 days ago, we admitted her to AIIMS.
“After Suhani was admitted to the hospital, several tests were conducted on her. It revealed that she was suffering from a rare disease, dermatomyositis ( is an uncommon inflammatory disease marked by muscle weakness and a distinctive skin rash). The only treatment for this disease is steroids. But these steroids affected her immune system and she became weaker day by day. This is what Suhani’s father said.
Suhani’s father said, “According to the doctors, it takes a long time to recover from this disease. . However, due to weak immunity, Suhani’s infection increased. Her lungs became weak. Due to this, she started having difficulty in breathing due to accumulation of fluid in his entire body. Ultimately, she left this world on February 16.
Suhani was active in modeling since childhood. She was selected for ‘Dangal’ out of about 25 thousand children. She was camera friendly since childhood. At present, Suhani was pursuing a course in Mass Communication-Journalism and was in the second year. She wanted to work in films after completing her studies. Suhani’s mother told the media.
Meanwhile, Suhani was not very active on Instagram. Her last Instagram post is from November 2021. After ‘Dangal’, the actress took a break from the film industry. She did not accept film offers to focus on her studies. She had said in several interviews that she wanted to complete her studies. After completing her graduation, she will turn to the entertainment world.
