Lucknow, 25 September: Based on the family’s complaint, an FIR has been registered against the girl in connection with the death of a worker at the flat of BJP MLA Yogesh Shukla on Monday.
Late on Sunday night, an employee looking after the work of the MLA’s media cell at the MLA’s residence committed suicide. The matter has come to light regarding a love affair. Police is investigating at all points.
Hazratganj police station in-charge Pramod Kumar Pandey said that Barabanki resident Shrestha Tiwari, who was handling the media cell of BJP MLA from BKT Assembly Yogesh Shukla in room number 804 at the MLA’s residence, had committed suicide on Sunday night.
The police reached the spot after receiving information and broke the door and brought down the body from the noose. No suicide note was recovered from the spot during the search.
During interrogation, the deceased’s brother told that Shrestha was having an affair with a girl for about four years. Both were living in relationship. The brother has filed a complaint against the girl.
The police have taken possession of the mobile phone of the deceased and have started investigation at all points.
