Ghaziabad, January 28: The First Information Report (FIR) was registered at Nandgram police station on Tuesday against YouTuber Elvis Yadav for threatening the plaintiff and witness on court’s order. Police have started investigating the matter.
Rajnagar Extension resident Saurabh Gupta had recently filed a petition in the court of Additional Civil Judge (Junior Division) Pratibha. It was alleged that the complainant and main witness of the snake venom smuggling case against YouTuber Elvish Yadav and his two associates were being threatened. He and his brother Gaurav Gupta are the complainants and main witnesses in the snake venom smuggling case going on in Noida. They are being threatened by Elvish Yadav and his gang and their house and vehicles are being reconnoitered. Gupta also alleged that a conspiracy is being hatched to kill him or implicate him in a false case.
In the petition, Gupta has alleged that Elvish Yadav and his supporters who run social media accounts in the name of Elvish Army are making fake news and videos against him and his brother. An atmosphere is being created against him through these posts. Fearing this, he has also closed his Facebook account.
Saurabh Gupta, citing the incident of May 10, 2024, said that Elvish Yadav and his companions entered his society in three-four vehicles and did a recce of the vehicles. Investigation of CCTV footage found that the recce was done with black Jaguar and black Fortuner cars. Gupta alleges that his life is in serious danger and he may be attacked like the Sidhu Moosewala murder case.
Hearing the case, the court of Additional Civil on Friday ordered the Nandgram police station in-charge to register an FIR in the case. Today, a named report has been filed against Elvish Yadav, Lakshya Kaushik and Lavkesh Kataria in this case.
