Power Minister reviewed meeting at headquarter, directed to complete preparations for providing uninterrupted power supply in summer
Lucknow, February 29: The Uttar Pradesh government’s Power Minister Shrikant Sharma held a review meeting on Saturday at the headquarter in Lucknow for better power supply during summer season.
During this, he directed to concerned officers to register an First Information Report ( FIR) against the agencies providing wrong meter readings.
Sharma told the officials that preparations should be completed in advance in view of the demand for electricity supply during the summer days, so that consumers do not have to face power cuts or low voltage during the summer season.
He said that complete resolution of consumer complaints should be done at a fast pace so that they do not feel difficulty.
Minister directed to ensure facility of bill correction in all the SDO offices and to register an FIR against the agencies for providing incorrect meter readings to the consumer.
He said that no disturbance with consumers can be tolerated. They should be provided all facilities meant for them.
