Ayodhya, 29 April: Flagpole was installed on the peak of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, Vaishakh Shukla Paksha Dwitiya Tithi, at 8 am, the flagpole was installed on the main peak of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple as per rituals.
According to Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra, the flagpole is 42 feet long. The process of installing it started at 6:30 am and was completed at 8 am. It is known that the height of the temple including the peak kalash is 161 feet. Now a 42-foot flag pole has also been added to it.
