Lucknow, 01 April: The Lucknow district administration sealed Fun Republic Mall in Gomti Nagar area for failing to implement Covid-19 protocols on Thursday.
Meanwhile, coronavirus is once again spreading its foot across the capital so in this regard; the administration here has asked everyone to follow the corona guidelines.
Thus to know its ground reality, Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Prafull Tiwari reached Fun Mall in Gomti Nagar on Thursday where he found that Mall authorities are not following the Covid protocols after which the on the orders of the District Magistrate(DM) Abhishek Prakash, sealed the mall.
SDM said that the mall was issued a notice on March 20 for not following the Covid protocol. Despite this, the mall employees were giving entry to people without masks.
On knowing this, the mall was inspected and it was sealed after it was found to have flaws. Earlier, the Savvy Grand Hotel was also sealed for organising Holi party without seeking permission.
SDM further informed that in view of the rising of the corona cases in the city, any kind of party or public functions in the capital has been completely banned. There are no events including mass Holi meet in the city.
