Lucknow, 17 Feb: The Uttar Pradesh government plans to hire ‘Udyami Mitras’ (entrepreneurs’ friends) shortly to ensure that investment proposals submitted at the recently ended Global Investment Summit-2023 are implemented in a timely way. On Thursday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath issued directions to the relevant agencies.
The Udyami Mitras will be appointed by ‘Invest UP,’ the agency in charge of state investments. Contacting investors, listening to and addressing their difficulties, and describing the facilities given by the state government relevant to the sector of their investment would be part of the Udyami Mitras’ profile.
105 Udyami Mitras will be employed on a one-year contract basis with an honorarium and allowances of Rs 70,000 per month in the first phase. The CEO of Invest UP will appoint Udyami Mitras, and the applicant must have an MBA degree with a minimum of 60% marks. They should be proficient in both Hindi and English.
