Chitrakoot, 12 Jan: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Chitrakootdham Mandal as part of an ongoing probe into development initiatives carried out in the state’s interest with MPs and MLAs funds on Thursday.
During the special meeting, the Chief Minister received information from MPs and MLAs from the districts of Banda, Mahoba, Hamirpur, and Chitrakoot one by one regarding the development plans for their respective areas and provided required directions. The representatives of the people also informed the gathering about the regional desires for new development projects and gave their recommendations.
Chief Minister Yogi further asked the Chief Minister’s Office to act on the MPs’ and MLAs’ ideas as soon as possible. On this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi met with public representatives to discuss the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit, which would take place from February 10 to 12.
Uttar Pradesh, according to Chief Minister Yogi, has set a goal of reaching a $1 trillion economy under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. The whole state of Uttar Pradesh is working together to meet this objective. The Global Investors Summit is a significant step in this approach. He stated that prior to the conference; our action plan to encourage global investors to invest in Uttar Pradesh had been a success. ?Roadshows in 16 countries have opened the door for an investment of more than Rs 7 lakh 12 thousand crore. Following the popularity of road shows in other countries, road shows are now being conducted in major locations around the country to welcome the industry. GIS-2023 will go down in history as a watershed moment,? he said.
?The substantial investment will provide a big number of job opportunities, directly benefiting our youths. Banda, Mahoba, Hamirpur, and Chitrakoot districts have enormous growth potential. Religious tourism is promoted here. A world-class infrastructure has been built. Every neighbourhood has enormous potential for industrial growth. There is an enough land here,? he opined.
He stated in his talk that Chitrakoot, where Lord Rama spent the most of his exile, provides a new tale of general progress today. ?Representatives of the people should introduce their specialties to the country and the globe. The Bundelkhand Expressway now provides great road connectivity. The airport is being built. Chitrakoot is a major node on the Defense Corridor.
Every home in this area has access to clean drinking water from the tap. Positive energy has diffused across the Chitrakoot Dham Mandal as a result of these initiatives. Given the convenience of common people, work has been completed on all Ease of Living criteria in Chitrakoot,? he claimed.
Chief Minister Yogi said that a stronger action plan should be developed for the District Investors Conference. ?Under the leadership of the MP, legislators should take initiatives. Seek the assistance of the District Administration, the Industrial Infrastructure Department, Invest UP, and the Chief Minister’s Office. Make contact with entrepreneurs, businesspeople, and migratory workers in your region. Inform them on the state government’s industrial policies and sectoral policies. Introduce your space’s potential and entice investment,? he said.
He stated that, inspired by global and local investor road shows, numerous districts staged district-level investor conferences and received investment bids worth hundreds of crores. Similarly, similar efforts should be done in the Chitrakoot division. The state government is gradually creating fire stations at every tehsil headquarter. Every district in Chitrakoot division will have a fire station. Here, trained individuals will be deployed. Transparency in mining-related operations in the state has been brought about as a result of deliberate efforts over the previous five and a half years. Many creative methods have been implemented with the convenience of the average person, leaseholder, or transporter in mind,? he claimed.
?All stakeholders involved in mining activities may expect a transparent procedure. Members of Parliament and MLAs should also work together to keep the system running smoothly. No illicit mining or overloading shall take place anywhere. Farmers in Hamirpur, Mahoba, and Banda are benefiting directly from the completion of the Arjun Sahayak project, which has been stalled for years. There is also clean drinking water accessible. This initiative will have a huge impact on the inhabitants of Bundelkhand. The state government’s new industrial strategies should be publicly publicised by MPs and MLAs. Youth should hold discussions in local universities, colleges, polytechnics, and ITIs. Representatives of the people should take part in these programmes. People’s representatives should continue to inspect the area’s development projects,? he said.
These programs seek to improve the image of local public officials. Representatives of the people will be required to participate to guaranteeing quality and timeliness. Utilize technology more effectively. Today, social media has risen to prominence as the most effective means of communication. This platform should be utilised by all MPs and MLAs. The central and state governments’ public welfare schemes, industrial strategies, and employment-oriented initiatives should be positively reflected on the social media platform. This platform is useful for initiating interaction and discourse with the general public. All districts of Bundelkhand are encouraging non-toxic cow-based natural farming. By taking an interest, MPs and MLAs may link farmers to this broad initiative,? he directed.
?Three programs are now being implemented at the state government level to safeguard impoverished cows: the construction of destitute cow shelters, the participation programme, and the provision of cows to malnourished families. People’s representatives should take an interest in these projects and publicise them. Elite households should also be encouraged to raise cows. For indigent livestock management, the involvement of all public representatives is required.
?For the protection of destitute cows, three schemes are going on at the state government level for the construction of destitute cow-shelter, participation scheme, and providing cows to malnourished families. People’s representatives should take an interest and publicize these schemes. Elite families should also be motivated toward cow rearing. The cooperation of every public representative is necessary for destitute cattle management,? he urged to ublic representatives prior to signing off.
