Google turned 21, know special

Google’s doodle on turning 21 today

New Delhi, Sept.27: Google turns 21 years old, today. On the occasion, Google has also made its special doodle today. Here is a 1998 desktop computer and old Google home page.

Last year, the company released a video doodle on its birthday and brought back many old memories.

On 27 September 1998, Google’s search was officially done by Larry Page and Sergey Brin. It actually started as a research project. Both of them were then students at Stanford University. These students wrote, ‘We named our system Google, because it is common spelling for 10100 or googol and it fits on target to make our large scale search engine.’

Both these students created a search engine, which used links to determine the importance of individual pages on the World Wide Web. Since then, Google has been the first choice of people worldwide as a search engine.

Currently, Google operates in more than 100 languages worldwide . According to the company, Google answers several trillion search queries.

According to Wikipedia, Google is one of the four giants of the world along with Amazon, Apple and Facebook. Last year, Alphabet, Google’s parent company, was estimated to cost 137 billion dollar. Talking about some special things related to Google, Larry Page and SergeBrin created an Internet search engine at the address Google.stanford.edu, which was named Back Rub and later changed to Google. The Google.com domain was registered on 15 September 1995, but Google was registered as a company on 4 September 1998.
