Gorakhpur: Yogi files nomination in the presence of Amit Shah

GORAKHPUR, 04 FEBRUARY: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday filed his nomination as a BJP candidate from the Gorakhpur city assembly constituency. His nomination was done in Court No. 24 of ADM Finance and Revenue.

Apart from the proposers, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah was also present with him.

At the time of nomination of Yogi Adityanath, a huge crowd of the BJP workers and Yogi supporters gathered outside the collectorate gate. Supporters raised slogans in favour of Yogi and the BJP. While returning from the nomination of Yogi, he was welcomed by the workers to the tune of drums and drums.

Yogi, along with four of his proposers Surendra Agarwal, Mankeshwarnath Pandey, Vishwanath Prasad and Mangalesh Srivastava, reached the court.

Meanwhile, Yogi filed his nomination in court number 24 of ADM Finance and Revenue. There was heavy security inside and outside the Collectorate premises during the admission. The traffic on major city roads leading to the Collectorate was diverted. To get an idea of โ€‹โ€‹the tight security arrangements, it is enough that the security personnel are stationed every step of the way. CCTV cameras were installed at prominent places.

State officials of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) were also present during Yogi’s nomination. Earlier, Chief Minister Yogi and State BJP President Swatantradev, led by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, reached the airport and reached the meeting place.
