Lucknow, 15 January: Governor of Uttar Pradesh Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday donated Rs 2 lakh- each from their personal capacity towards the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya.
However, the contribution drive across the country started on Friday with a view to ensure public participation for the construction of a grand temple at the Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya.
Mahant Kamalanayan Das, a disciple of Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, President of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust, General Secretary of the Trust Champat Rai, RSS Sah Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosbole, Pramukh Kaushal Kumar, Prashant Bhatia reached Raj Bhavan, where the Governor contributed Rs 2 lakh , at the same time, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath donated a cheque of Rs 2 lakh at his residence.
Kalyan Singh gave a sum of one lakh rupees
Earlier, former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Kalyan Singh presented a cheque of Rs 1 lakh, and 1 rupee’ in his personal capacity at his residence. Kalyan Singh said on the occasion that a grand Ram temple is being constructed in Ayodhya. It is the center of faith of crores of Hindus. After the construction of the grand Ram temple, he will definitely go to Ayodhya for worship.
He said that the fundrasing campaign started today, it is a day of good luck for me. He said that seeing the construction of Ram temple, I should take my last breath that is my last wish.
Mahant Divya Giri donated Rs 51 thousand
Earlier, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s Sah Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabole visited Mankameshwar Temple and met Mahant Divya Giri. The Mahant contributed the fund of Rs 51 thousand rupees. During this, Divya Giri said that he will do whatever I can to support towards the construction of ‘Bhavya’ Ram temple.
On this occasion Sah Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosbole said this campaign will be carried out from January 15 to February 15. A grand Ram temple will be built in Ayodhya. For this, everyone is getting support and blessings of saints.
