Grand ‘bhandaras’, ‘langars’ running in Ayodhya to provide free food to devotees, tourists

Ayodhya, 19 January: The joy of the consecration ceremony of Shri Ram Lalla on January 22 has griped Ayodhya. On behalf of Ram devotees, huge langar, bhandara, annakshetra, mahaprasadam and tea are being distributed at various places in the temple town.

Huge ‘Bhandara’ (community kitchen) has been organized in Ayodhya city with the help of Shri Har Har Mahadev Seva Mandal, Mansa Punjab and Bikaner.

It is being operated from January 14next to Jagadguru Swami Rambhadracharya Maharaj Camp on Panchkasi Parikrama Marg where 30 thousand devotees and visitors are being served food twice a day.

On this occasion, Pradeep, President of Shri Har Har Mahadev Seva Mandal Mansa Punjab told that he has been offering ‘langar’ at Baba Amarnath for the last 25 years. This time, on the request of Gurudev Jagadguru Swami Rambhadracharya Maharaj, he has organized it for the first time in Ayodhya Dham in view of the consecration ceremony of Shri Ram Lalla and the Amrit Mahotsav of Gurudev.

He told that 25 to 30 thousand Ram devotees are taking Bhajan Prasadi every day in Bhandara. Food is being given to the people by changing them every day.

Bikaner BJP District General Secretary Mohan Surana said that the community kitchen has started from January 14 and will continue till January 22. Along with langar, free medical care is also being provided here. A large number of devotees are taking food. Everyone is being made to sit at one place and food is being served.

Johnny, Dhanraj Surana, KK Mehta, Mahavir Bathra, Yogesh Gupta, Vimal Pareek, Jaigarg etc. are making special contributions in Bhandara.
