Gujarat HC Chief Justice’s two iPhones stolen in Dehradun

Dehradun, January 30: An incident of iPhone theft of Gujarat High Court Chief Justice Sunita Agarwal has come to light when she came to Dehradun in Uttarakhand.

In this case, the police has registered a case and prepared a list of more than 100 people and started searching for the thieves.

According to the information, Gujarat High Court Chief Justice Sunita Agarwal had come to Dehradun on January 26 to attend a wedding ceremony organized at Foothill Garden on Mussoorie Road. Between 4:45 pm and 5:15 pm, two of her iPhones were stolen during the ceremony.

As soon as the information of Chief Justice’s mobile theft was received, Dehradun’s Rajapur police station reached the spot and started investigation.

Rajapur SHO PD Bhatt said that the Chief Justice had come to a wedding ceremony. Here two of her iPhones were stolen. One of these iPhones was her personal one, while the other mobile is registered in the name of the Registrar General’s office.

A case has been registered on this complaint. Efforts are being made to trace the mobiles. The CCTV footage installed in the hotel is being scrutinized. Apart from this, 100 people are to be questioned.

He said that the police have got some important clues and soon the accused will be in police custody.
