Gujarat: Ram Naam Mantra written in Somnath to be dedicated during consecration of grand Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya

Gir Somnath, 4 November: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Saturday performed worship and offered ‘Jalabhishek’ of the first Jyotirlinga of Somnath Mahadev located at Prabhas Patan.

After this, the CM Patel participated in ‘Somnath to Ayodhya Ram Naam Mantra Lekhan Yagya’ underway in Shri Ram Temple of Somnath Trust.

At the time of consecration of the grand Ram temple being built in Ayodhya, the Ram Naam mantras written in Somnath will be dedicated.

‘Somnath to Ayodhya Ram Naam Mantra Lekhan Yagya’ was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his recent visit to Gujarat by writing the name of Ram for the first time after the meeting of Somnath Trust held at Raj Bhavan in Gandhinagar.

Taking forward the tradition of writing Ram Naam Mantra Yagya, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel participated in writing Mantra in the Ram temple located there during his Somnath visit on Saturday.

It is worth noted that over 1.51 lakh ‘Ram Naam’ being written on the very first day of the Yagya is a proof that the devotees have assimilated this Yagya. Writing the name of Ram in the presence of Devadhidev Mahadev and Shri Ram Prabhu in Somnath gives happiness to the soul.

Expressing happiness over joining the Shri Ram Naam Lekhan Yagya, the Chief Minister said that today he has got a blessed opportunity to join the ‘Somnath to Ayodhya Ram Naam Mantra Lekhan Yagya’.

The Chief Minister congratulated the Somnath Trust for building a bridge in the form of Ram Naam Lekhan of united India by connecting the devotees from India and abroad coming to Somnath with the Ram Naam Mantra Lekhan Yagya. At the time of consecration of the grand Ram temple being built in Ayodhya, the Ram Naam mantras written in Somnath will be dedicated.

On this occasion, Somnath Trust Trustee JD Parmar and Secretary Yogendrabhai Desai welcomed and honored the Chief Minister.
