Gurugram, October 10: Maruti Suzuki’s plant will be set up at Kharkhoda in Sonipat district of Haryana. The plant will be set up on 900 acres of land. There, a large number of employment opportunities will be available for the youth of the state. However, all the formalities related to setting up this plant are almost complete.
Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala has also held a high level meeting for this and the place for the plant has also been finalised.
Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation’s Chief Co-ordinator (Industries) and HOD Estate Sunil Sharma told here on Sunday that the dispute resolution scheme started by Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal to facilitate the allottees of HSIIDC during the Corona period. Under this, the corporation has recovered Rs 650 crore, which is the biggest ever recovery in the history of the corporation.
He said that this scheme was announced by the Chief Minister in Gurugram for the convenience of the industries, under which allottees were given various exemptions including penal interest, regular interest, maintenance and extension fee waiver.
He said that this is the first time that such a huge amount has been voluntarily paid by the allottees. The allottees of HSIIDC in the state had outstanding amount of about Rs 1000 crore, out of which 650 crore has been recovered and Rs 350 crore exemption has been given by the state government. About 5000 units of the state have benefited from this.
He said that under this scheme, a portal was created to solve the problems of the allottees, so that human interference is minimized and paperless system is promoted. On this portal, the facilities related to pending dues of industries, benefits under the scheme, generating challans from the portal and making payment through this were provided. There is complete transparency in this work.
He said that now no offline requests of allottees are accepted, the entire process has been made online. It is our endeavor to provide all facilities and services to the allottees in a time bound manner.
Sunil Sharma also informed that during the Corona period 50 industrial units expressed their desire to set up their industries in Haryana. Of these, 20 have been finalized, while 30 projects are in the pipeline
