Notification for Haryana Assembly General Elections 2024 will be issued on September 5
Gurugram, 1 September: Those persons who have completed the age of 18 years, yet their names are not registered in the voter list, can apply till Monday, September 2, to get their names registered in the photo voter list.
As per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, the final publication of these lists has been done on August 27 after the settlement of claims and objections under the summary revision program of voter lists.
District Election Officer (DEO) Nishant Kumar Yadav said that as per the instructions of the Election Commission, applications will be accepted till today, September 2, i.e. 10 days before the last date of filing nomination papers for Haryana Assembly General Elections 2024, to register the names of new eligible persons in the voter lists. The Election Commission is in favor of participation of all eligible persons in the election so that democracy can be further strengthened.
He said that efforts are being made at various levels by the district administration to register the names of all eligible persons, especially the youth, in the voter lists.
DC Nishant Kumar Yadav has said that as per the announcement of the general election for the Haryana Legislative Assembly by the Election Commission of India, the notification for the election will be issued in the state on September 5, 2024. The process of filing nomination papers will start as soon as the notification is issued, which will be completed on September 12, 2024. Interested candidates will be able to file nomination papers in the office of the concerned Returning Officer from 11 am to 3 pm on the scheduled date.
District Election Officer Nishant Kumar Yadav has said that as per the scheduled schedule of the general election of Haryana Legislative Assembly, interested candidates will be able to file nominations from September 5 to September 12. The scrutiny of nomination papers will be done on September 13 and candidates will be able to withdraw nomination papers till September 16. Voting for Haryana Assembly General Elections 2024 will be held on October 5 and the results will be declared after counting of votes on October 8, 2024. The process of Haryana Assembly general election will be completed on October 10, 2024.
