Chandigarh, January 29: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that the statement given by former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to create fear among people for his political selfishness is unfortunate. Do not create hatred by giving such statements. Arvind Kejriwal should apologize to the people of Delhi and Haryana for this statement.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Wednesday visited the number four point of Yamuna river near Dahisara village on Delhi-Haryana border and performed puja and drank Yamuna water.
Saini said that Arvind Kejriwal has given a statement that the Bharatiya Janata Party government of Haryana has mixed poison in Yamuna and sent it. Whereas the water samples taken by the Water Authority of India have not found any poisonous substances anywhere.
Chief Minister said that Arvind Kejriwal is doing politics of lies. He did not fulfill the promises he made to the people of Delhi 10 years ago. By making a statement about poisonous water, he has done a painful and fear-inducing act, which is unfortunate. Citing the Pollution Control Board’s test report of the last four samples,
Nayab Singh Saini said that before entering Delhi, Yamuna’s water on Haryana’s border has completely met the standards. Clean water is going from Haryana to Delhi. After Delhi, when Haryana receives this water in Palwal and Faridabad, it is in a very bad condition.
CM said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government had given Rs 8,500 crore for water cleaning and sewerage etc. in Delhi, but where did this amount go, the former Chief Minister of Delhi has no account of it. Arvind Kejriwal did not do any work towards releasing clean water into Yamuna by setting up treatment plants.
He said that Delhi has not developed in 10 years and this is the reason that there is waterlogging in the streets at many places, sewerage systems are stalled. 10 years ago, Arvind Kejriwal had stood on the Yamuna river and said that he would purify it, but he did not do anything for it. The people of Delhi are now waiting for the elections.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that Arvind Kejriwal should apologize for making such an unfortunate statement. Whenever Kejriwal gets a chance, he keeps making false allegations on Haryana, sometimes in the name of stubble and sometimes in the name of water, which have no truth.
According to the ammonia nitrogen report of January 28 from point number four of Yamuna river near Dahisara village, the entry point of water from Haryana to Delhi, BDL (DL-0.5) ) BDL (DL-0.5) and on January 16, 2025, this quantity was BDL (DL-0.5). Earlier, on December 17, 2024, BDL (DL-0.5) and on November 26, 2024, BDL (DL-0.5) was less.
